Saturday 30th November - Cheddleton Christmas Pudding 10K

The annual Cheddleton Christmas Pudding 10K was on Sat 30th November 2013.

This is a three lap road race with a couple of hills per lap. The prize was a lovely Christmas Pudding.

Several group members ran this race - there were some good times and I note improvement is taking place!!

Details below (please let me know if I have errors or have missed anybody).

Nicky Tasker (MHAC) 251st (1h 1m 47s)
Karen Wellington (unattached) 285th (1h 6m 24s)
Kate Foster (unattached) 308th (1h 9m 16s) - big improvement on Langley 7!

Well done - there were 342 runners and lots of Macc Harriers there.

Saturday 30th November - Fell & Hill taster session

The Start
Today was a 'taster' session for fell/hill running. We did just over 4 miles and 780' of ascent/descent around Rainow and Lamaload.

8 intrepid runners braved the hills (up and down) and the mud with little or no (!) complaining. The weather conditions and views were BRILLIANT.

Well done to everybody who came along - you did really well!

A few people came back to the Tythy Club afterwards to meet the other group.

Saturday 30th November - Middlewood and Canal

The Start
This morning the non-fell runners had a very nice Middlewood Way and canal run. Perfect weather was ordered and delivered making our 4 miles very pleasant.

A coffee at Tytherington Club afterwards rounded off the morning. What a great way to start a Saturday! Well run ladies!
