Saturday 25th October - Tytherington Loop

The start
Today 24 keen runners met in the Riverside car park for a Tytherington loop run. A change to the advertised route as the Bollin Valley was very wet.

We welcomed some new members to the group who had recently completed the C25k course.

A gently 5+k around Dorchester Way and across to the Middlewood with lots of looping back and a short hill sprint at the end!

Thanks to all the helpers for their support. Sorry if I haven't managed to capture everyone on camera...will try harder next time!

Saturday 18th October - Congleton ParkRun with C25K Group (Course 2)

After the 5K
Wow - what a great turnout for a combined E/D/C25K Parkrun at Congleton today in perfect conditions. It was a great atmosphere and it was lovely that the ParkRun team recognised the C25K success and made everybody welcome.

Some very good running today - various PBs ... a few people found it much harder than running on the track!

Rather than uploading all the pictures to the BLOG CLICK HERE to see them in FLICKR - sorry if I missed anybody!

Brilliant cakes afterwards - thanks to all who contributed.

Saturday 11th October - Nancy Surprise

Wow, what beautiful weather we had for the 'hills and views'. The word had got round that we would be going up to White Nancy - 23 runners arrived to take on the challenge.

With hills more or less straight from the off, we headed up up up to Kerridge Ridge and were rewarded with the most beautiful views of Macclesfield and beyond. We stopped for a few pictures at the trig and pressed forward to Nancy herself. The group pushed themselves hard this morning and once we met Nancy there was such a sense of achievement amongst the group. Well done to everyone, it was a brilliant team run this morning.

Those who could stopped for coffee at the Waterside afterwards, which turned into a picture and view sharing meeting.
