A good turnout (Run England members plus guests) on a warm and sunny evening for our 'paced 10k'. We met on the viaduct near the skate park (Bollington) at 6.30pm and after a warm up set off north on the Middlewood Way.
The plan ... run north for 5k then turn round and run back. Exactly 10k and all at a pace of 10 minutes/mile.
The group stuck together well for the first 3 miles but started to spread out a little bit as the distance took its toll. Everyone stuck in, worked hard and we are arrived back within a few minutes of each other. Some tired looking faces at the end but beer/drinks and food at The Vale helped us to recover.
So ... when is the next one and shall we puts some hills in ...
