Saturday 4th May - Mottram Lollipop

The start
Today was a new route for most group members - the Mottram Lollipop. The route is about 4.5 miles and follows the River Bollin for about 1.5 miles before heading out across to Mottram Hall and back via a series of footpaths. The route is shown at the end of this BLOG entry.

A few people were away and a few were nursing 'injury or illness' but 12 hardy souls came along to experience the possible mud and hills. It is a good and challenging route with a mix of terrain - everybody put in the effort and we all got back safe and sound - some good running today!

A very pleasant half hour was spent afterwards putting the world to rights in the Chocolate Box.
