Saturday 5th May

Sarah, Philip, Bev, Nina, Julie, Dawn

 A lovely sunny day and a great turnout with two new members (Julie and Dawn) running with us for the first time. The group today was Sarah, Bev, Philip, Nina, Dawn, Julie and Alison.

As it was a sunny day and the ground was dry(ish) we decided to run in the Bollin Valley - everyone ran really well with Dawn and Julie surprising themselves with how far they ran for the first outing (Julie 4 miles and Dawn 3.5 miles). Hoping things will only get better as some midweek runs are planned.

I was really impressed today with some good running and good social chat - a great way to pass an hour on Saturday morning. When the whole group is out we will be a force to be reckoned with!

I am now away for two Saturdays but the group will still meet (see blog for details).
