The Start |
20 group members came out and gave this new type of session 100% - it was interesting that most people said that they ran further and faster than usual - I wonder why that was.
After a short session about which way up the map should go and what the strange wiggly lines were all about everybody seemed keen to get going. We have a brief (!) warm-up everybody grabbed the maps and headed off to find the 21 controls on the course (nobody managed to get them all by the way).
We managed to get a few pictures from the course (below) but it was hard to keep track of everybody! ... the course and results are shown below as well.
There seemed to be a sense of achievement as each group returned (pretty much on time) and the general opinion was that it is something that we should do every so often (if anybody wants to get involved just shout out!).
