Saturday 12th October - Rainow Romp

The start
Wow - a great turnout today for the 'Rainow Romp' and we just managed to beat the poor weather.

The route today was a bit shorter (about 5k) but the terrain was more 'challenging'. We ran from Smithy Lane in Rainow to Oakenbank Lane and along towards the back of Savio House. From there we dropped down to Ingersley Vale and along to the waterfall. The group then split with one sub-group heading back across the fields and the other group going up the steep hill onto the side of Kerridge Ridge.

Some good running today - well done.

A large contingent then returned to Cheryl's house to demolish loads of cake, biscuits, coffee and tea - many thanks to Cheryl for hosting.

Apologies - poor light and a wet phone mean poor photographs this week - sorry (note to self, must do better)

Saturday 5th October - Congleton Park Run

The start
Wow - what a great turnout (welcome to three new group members) and some really good running from everybody (including a couple of new PBs)!

We were lucky with good conditions and the atmosphere was excellent (thanks to all the organisers and marshals).

The results are available on the Congleton ParkRun website (Click HERE and press the results tab).

Afterwards a number of group members went to Astbury Garden Centre for a well earned tea/cake...

Well run everyone and thanks to Savitri who took all the photographs despite feeling under the weather with a nasty cold.
