Saturday 4th October - Kerridge Loop

Well the weather was a little different this morning to the glorious sunshine we had last week but 12 runners met at Clough Bank to see if we were going up or down 'Neil's Hill'. We headed up the Middlewood and quickly onto the canal, off the canal and up forward Kerridge. We went up which meant only one thing, we were coming down 'Neil's Hill' with a few reps thrown in for good measure.

We headed back down towards the Middlewood and completed the timed 1K with excellent results - everyone coming in within the 5-6 minute range (from memory). The table below is a copy of the one I was reading from. Well done, it was good to see everyone smiling at the end of the 1K and seeing paced speed work as a positive. We then added a bit extra to the route and ran back to Clarke Lane and back up the canal and through Tinkers Clough. We arrived back in good time, as we finished stretching the heavens really opened!!

Thank you to Gemma for supporting this morning :-)
