Saturday 1st June - Kerridge Ridge

Today the group met on Clarke Lane for the first group 'Kerridge Ridge Run'. This was a challenging route with almost 1,000ft of ascent (and yes, descent) with tricky terrain for running. There were 17 hardy souls who decided to get up early and tackle the route ... and everybody did it. The route and profile are shown here..

It was a real treat to see everybody up at White Nancy and on Kerridge Hill - a testament to how far so many group members have progressed.

The descent proved as tricky as the ascent but we all got back safe and sound and finished the session with a coffee etc at The Waterside Cafe (those that could make it).

Well done!
