Mel has walked the route today and TRAIL SHOES are a must. The paths and trails are frozen and there is a dusting of snow. Anyone who is not confident in snow and ice might want to give it a miss. You are still very welcome to pop along for a walk and come to the cake sale afterwards. The forecast for tomorrow is -2 degrees at 8am soplease wear suitable winter gear :gloves, hats, waterproofs, etc. It is probably a good idea to bring a hot drink with you for after the run.

Runners can run the whole route or part of it. Faster runners may complete the 10k and then runners behind may wish to turn round once the ones at the front get back to them, you choose. There will be qualified leaders present and all are welcome. Whether you need a Saturday morning boost, are returning from injury or just fancy something different, this could be for you. Members from all the Macc Harriers running groups have been invited so it will be a great opportunity to mingle. Over 18 only please.
