Neil Gunn (2007 Wincle Trout Race)

E Group is part of Macclesfield Harriers & A.C. The group is also a Run England Group (part of the Run England scheme) organised by England Athletics (www.runengland.org).

The group is primarily aimed at beginner runners who want to improve in a friendly and social environment. As group members improve they are encouraged to move into the other groups within Macclesfield Harriers & A.C. where there are groups catering for all abilities.

The group normally meets on Saturday morning at 9.00am in the Riverside Car Park, Bollin Valley, Tytherington (although we do meet at alternative locations to vary our routes).

We run for about 45 minutes at a pace of 10-12 min/mile and always 'loop back' so that we do not lose the slower runners!
