Saturday 4th April - Bollington Mystery Tour

25 runners met this morning at Clough Bank for a late change of plan route around Bollington. Originally, the route was posted as 'flat and fast' but I had forgotten and planned a lovely scenic route in my head - sorry to those who wanted flat and fast - we will stick to the plans on future runs.

We headed through Tinkers Clough, down the canal and on the road towards 'Neil's Hill' where there was a lot of determination to push during the reps and during the final assent. After a quick pause, we continued to the approach of White Nancy - another hill challenge. We then took the scenic path to the Waterfall where Dave joked about diving in! Through Bollington, up Shrigley Road and up the secret steps at the back of Bolly. We then headed back down towards the aqueduct and along the canal to the cars.

We covered over 4.5 miles with more for those who looped back - which was brilliant today.

Thank you to Louise for bringing everyone an Easter Surprise!
A large group enjoyed coffee and tea afterwards at the Waterside Cafe.
