Saturday 23rd December - Reverse Sutton Reservoir loop & also a D group Taster Session

RUN 1; This is our normal E group run.

Meeting place: Fairways garden Centre, Bullocks Lane, Sutton. SK11 0HE

Route: Reverse Sutton loop

RUN 2; THERE IS ANOTHER D GROUP TASTER SESSION ON OFFER FOR THOSE E GROUP MEMBERS WHO HAVE BEEN THINKING OF RUNNING WITH D.

Meeting place: Bollin Valley Riverside Car park ( Manchester Road)

Route: Middlewood and canal & maybe some other bits. This flatter route has been designed by Ali & Neil to encourage you to try a D group run. Pat will also be coming along to support you.

Monday 18th December - Town Route to view the Christmas lights

Meet at Whalley Hayes Car Park at 6.30pm for  4.5 mile run around the streets of Macclesfield.
Leaders: Wendy, Damian and Pat.
This will be the last E group run on a Monday evening in 2017.

Saturday 16th December - Stypherson pool and Nab head

Meeting place: The Skate Park car park, Bollington.
Route: Stypherson Pool and Nab Head or a visit to White Nancy !
We will be celebrating Damian's forthcoming nuptials with a stag/festive themed run. Please come in fancy dress- you can come in festive attire or as a wedding guest ... bridesmaid, elderly aunt, vicar or whatever you can find in your fancy dress box.

Monday 11th December - CANCELLED

IMPORTANT INFORMATION !!!!!
TONIGHT'S RUN IS CANCELLED DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS.
I have walked around the streets of Macclesfield this afternoon and the pavements, and some roads, are very slippery and there are ice patches still visible in parts. The temperature is set to drop to minus 6 degrees at 6pm which will make the conditions even more hazardous. We are sorry to disappoint those of you who were hoping to run this evening but your safety is our primary concern.

Distance: Approx 4.5 miles around Bollington.  A lot of E group are running the Yule Yomp this weekend so we are expecting a select gathering for our Saturday run this week.
