Saturday 25th February - Buxton Road Loop
This morning, 17 E Groupers met at Alan Howard Hairdressers Car Park off Hulley Road to run the Buxton Loop. With a prompt warm up due to a strong wind, we headed for the canal which took us to Buxton Road. We ran up Buxton Road - which is no easy task, well done everyone! We were encouraged by an Eddie Stobarts Lorry giving us a friendly 'toot'!
From here we went along Ecton Avenue and down past the small reservoirs with a cheeky detour to Swans Pool. We then took the road back along Higher Fence Avenue to the canal, enjoying a decent down the Rainow Road and alongs Queens Avenue to find us back at the cars.
When the weather improves, we will do this route again and head along the famers path at the top to enjoy views of Macclesfield!
Well done everyone!

Here are a few pics Thanks to Damian for the thorough warm up & Abi for co-piloting :)

Saturday 28th January 2017 - Prestbury Lollipop
22 hardy E groupers met at Riverside Car Park for a very soggy muddy 4 mile Prestbury Lollipop.
Some fantastic self organised looping today! Very impressive! We split at the end so that those who needed to rush off could do so and the others could do a few hill reps as an added bonus!
We were all a bit cold & soggy to do coffee today!
Well run everyone - hope the poorly knee is OK Caroline (& Pat - v sensible not to carry on with the reps). My phone doesn't like rain so not many photos today, sorry!

Saturday 21st January 2017 - Club Champs - Park Run Astbury
11 E groupers met at Astbury Mere for the club champs parkrun on a chilly & slightly icy morning. Very well done to all - 8 PBs achieved today including some great reductions in 5K time from our recent C25K graduates. It was a bit nippy to hang around for photos but a few had a quick celebratory coffee from the van. Thanks to Louise for being chief photographer - lots of photos on Facebook - here are a few, apologies if we missed you!.
