An epic turnout on a cold, wet and muddy day in Tatton Park. Over 20 E & D Group runners ran today with some very good times posted.

Saturday 6th December - social CAFOD run with D Group

The start

Today was the 'day after the night before' (the morning after the Group Christmas meal) and the day before Tatton Yule Yomp and so numbers were down a little - it was a very cold morning but with lovely sunshine and blue skies.

About 10 hardy runners (including new member Sammy?) put on gloves and hats and after a very energetic warm-up provided by Mel W we set off to do the CAFOD route (with a slight short-cut) whilst D group (all three of them) tried to catch us. Some excellent running with no walk breaks - well done for that ... and D group did not catch us!

We had a good post-run de-brief in the Waterside cafe afterwards. An excellent way to start the day and to blow away the cobwebs.

Friday 5th December - E/D Group - Christmas Do

FULLY BOOKED - PLEASE CONTACT WENDY RE THE RESERVE LIST 

We have booked the Christmas 'Do' for E/D group this year at The Lime Tree in Bollington.
The room is booked from 8pm (5th December) - the meal is £24.95 for 3 courses - see the menu below.  If you would like to come, please pay a £10 deposit to Wendy, Jo Prichard or Neil. The room seats 36 so its first-come-first-served.

There will be lots of entertainment on the evening so be prepared to have a fun packed evening.
Dress code: No Lycra!

Saturday 29th November - Street-O - Event 3

This morning, 30 eager runners arrived at The Church House car park to partake in Street-O Round Three. With teams decided and guidelines provided, the teams set out to run around Sutton & Langley. Commiserations to the team who came in last were (Heather C, Julie, Jo P and Heather A  - who collected their wooden spoons, and well done to Neil who won...with two teams close behind.

It was really nice to see so many people trying something different this morning and I think from the feedback it was enjoyed by all. Neil is busy planning when the next event will be, if you are thinking that its something you would like to help organise, please let him know.
