Saturday 13th June - Bollin Valley cat and mouse

The start
23 runners, not put off by the wet weather, met at Riverside park for Dangerous Dave & Dawn's cat & mouse Prestbury Lollipop.

After passing though the village we split into 2 groups, the more intrepid group following Dave up the slightly more elevated route near the railway line and the others staying with Dawn in the valley for a bit of 'Donkey' along the flatter route.  It was lovely to see some new faces this week. Well done everyone - I hope you've dried out now!

Saturday 6th June - Welcome C25K graduates

Wow! 40 E group runners met this morning to run the CAFOD route in reverse. After a split group warm up, we headed down the Middlewood to Bridge 8 and then onto the canal. The canal was beautiful in the sunshine! We ran down to Tinkers Clough where a few runners ran down to Clarke Lane and back down the Middlewood while others opted to run through Tinkers Clough and up to the Middlewood to meet us.

It was brilliant to see so many people 'lopping back' - we didn't even had to shout. The new C25K runners in true style didn't stop running, pushing E group away from a casual break.

We took over the Waterside Cafe with around 25 people stopping for a brew and a post run chat.

Welcome to E group graduates and new members!
