Today's run began at the Shirleys Drive Car park and was lead by Cheryl and Harry, with Dave providing support on his bicycle.
After a brisk warm up in cool cloudy weather, 18 runners headed out on the Bollin Valley Way towards Mottram and completed a challenging route, across fields, golf course and track.
Unfortunately the terrain proved too dangerous even for "Dangerous Dave", as he took a tumble in the woods (some interesting tyre marks on his legs, but happy to report he was fine).
We encountered nettles, mud and wet grass but a great run of around 4 and a half miles, with coffee and cake rewards for some of the group at the end.
Well done all
Cheryl, Harry and Dave
