Saturday 26th November 2016 - Dawn's Cafod last minute sub
18 runners braved the minus temperature for an icy Cafod run (Bollington canal & Middlewood loop) - a slight change to plans as Dangerous Dave is not very well today. Lots and lots of looping meant a good log run for the speedier members of the group. Well done all! Here are a few pics - sorry for brief report - got to go to work! Get well soon DD!

Saturday 29th October 2016 - Bollin Valley - C25K Welcome Run
Meeting point: Riverside Car Park, Beechwood Mews- Just off Manchester Road, opposite Tytherington High School. Postcode: SK10 2SL
Time: 9am - 10:15am
Route: Bollin Valley
Shoes: Trail if you have them but road are fine :)
Leaders: Dave and Louise
Coffee: Tytherington Club off Dorchester Way
We had a lovely run along the Bollin Valley this morning. 23 happy runners (including 3 C25K graduates Aideen, Sinead (who SPRINTED at the end!) and Anna). There was a bit of mud (but not enough to keep DD happy). It was interesting/sad to see how much damage had been done by the very heavy rain last month. We ran through Prestbury and spotted some beautiful flowers outside the church (Lady H's daughter's wedding last weekend!!). Lots of lovely looping and encouragement. We had coffee at The Tytherington Club afterwards where Wendy presented Sinead with her certificate and medal (yes, the couchies got bling this time!!) for completing the C25K course. Well done everyone.

Saturday 15th October 2016 - Sutton Surprise
This morning, 20 E Group runners met to run the Sutton Surprise. The route consists of 2 miles down the canal to Fools Nook, up to Sutton Reservoir and back to the garden centre via roads and fields. The group was able to run a good consistent speed along the canal and it was brilliant to see so many people tackle 'the hill' - some for the first time! Well done everyone.
Coffee and toasted tea cakes were enjoyed by a large group following the run.
See you next week,
Wendy and Louise

Saturday 17th September - Buzzard Run
13 E Group met this week at the Leisure Centre to car share to the start of Dangerous Daves Special Buzzard Run. The pictures give it away, it was a beautiful morning to run along the roads, fields, down hills, through dappled woodland, uphills and plenty of opportunities to spot several buzzards! DD taught us all how to identify the call of a buzzard (and to stop cracking if you want to see any!).
Great running today everyone, well done.
See you next week.

Good to see a good turn out and smiles on faces whilst running in warm conditions.
Well done everyone!
